Folia Water Glass

The water glass #2 is part of a dinner service made up of 11 pieces in clear crystal, with the characteristic cut starting at the top of the leg and blossoming like a flower on the curve of the gob. An astonishing approach, rooted in a unique aesthetic for Saint-Louis. Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance interprets crystal cutting as a decor of geometric and organic forms.

"The factory is a strong, preserved and remote place. I wanted to convey its magic, between fire and cold. The local roots, the durability of know-how, the concentration that reigns there."

In homage to the forest that surrounds the Saint-Louis factory and to creative madness, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance imagined the transversal Folia collection, covering all of Saint-Louis' historic universes: the table, the bar, candles, vases and light. With the manufacture, he also explored a new dimension: furniture. An alliance of the brilliance of crystal and the strength of wood, Folia is a contemporary evocation of nature, from its leaf-shaped cut to the finishes of its clear or satin-finish crystal.
